Downlines are very important in multi level marketing. It is the bloodline of the organization that you are currently in. Members of multi-level marketing should not stop recruiting new downlines even though you have reached the top level of the structure plan.
If you are the leader, do not stop the recruiting process as it will influence the people included in the group to stop also their recruiting process. As a leader, lead by example, recruit people who you believe have the will power to do their networking responsibilities.

1. Use the edge of technology.
Technology is the best ally for recruiting downlines. How? The multi-level marketing distributors now are luckier than before because of technology. Before the distributors were looking all over the neighborhood just to have new recruits but today, the distributors can use internet, e-mails, blogs and e-zines to get new prospects.
All you have to do is send e-mails to the people you probably knew or to the leads given by the company. As nowadays, there are some that are listed in “do not call” entries that is why sending e-mails are more effective and can conserve more time than calling all your prospects one by one.
You can also use e-zines or blogs and put a link back to your site, this will give more traffic and will encourage the people to see and study the products that you are offering to them.
2. Be natural, personal and realistic.
The best way to get the trust of the prospects is to be personal and realistic. You don’t have to put media hype and false promises out there to attract the prospects.
Adding hype and false promises sometimes drives the prospects away rather than influence and encourage them. So, the best way is just be personal and realistic with the short term and long term goals that they might expect in multi-level marketing.
3. Do not underestimate.
All people have a chance to join the multi-level marketing. Do not underestimate what a person can or cannot do. There are some who will not entertain other persons because they do not seem to have the magic of the networking prowess, but this is wrong. All people should have an opportunity to show their skills either by selling or by recruiting.
